There probably isn't a lot of room for redundant powers unless you start from a mistborn; each Inquisitor under the Lord Ruler had 11 spikes. Additionally, I believe they had feruchemical gold. That leaves 5 spikes if you don't want copper, emotional allomancy, allomantic gold, and tin.

I belive in the end of Final Empire, we see them able to tell where people are by the metal on and in their bodies, even the small amount of metal in normal non-spiked bodies.
