Move it on over and make room for this 1960 ES-125. From the collection of George Thorogood, this guitar has seen the stage and played on tunes such as 'Bad to the Bone' and 'Who Do You Love'. Modifications include a full refinish, shaved down neck to 1.5" nut width, rewired, replaced pickups, and some touch up on the headstock.

Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) Delrin is a synthetic material similar to the Nylon 6/6 material that Gibson and Epiphone used for nuts in the '50s and '60s. It imparts a unique tone different from bone, as it seems to make for a softer attack and more snarl (at least to my ears).
